Thetra and Brunese are the latest additions to Cantine Leuci, one of the most respected producers of kosher wines in Italy.
We designed the two labels based on a concept based on names borrowed from two of the very few rivers in Salento.
This choice evokes both territoriality and the importance of water in Jewish purification rites.

Manter by Fedrigoni took part in the project by selecting two papers with extraordinary performances. These are Ispira Nero Mistero UWS, smooth and exciting to the touch, and Cotone Nero FELTRO UWS, rough, warm and material. Their overlapping gives a decisive touch to the design, suggesting the irregular texture of Salento’s geology, while it was Luxoro’s contribution, with the hot gold foil and embossed resin gold, black micro-engraved foil M851-001 and the embossing, which gave light, concreteness and preciousness to the signs that reflect the path of the two rivers, providing all the clichés. The printing processes for the two labels, which are particularly complex, are handled by Imoco, who masterfully created the project using Cartes screen printing, double die-cutting and laminating the paper using the Cartes Label On Label process.
